Digital means everything that is represented with numbers, from the Latin digitus meaning finger, and in fact, we instinctively count with our fingers. Digital has to do with the transformation of the analogue nature of life into a countable set of elements: a human attempt to simplify the infinity of space. Like a modern caveman, I wanted to create a relationship between the digital grid of LEDs and the freedom of movement of a body in space, without physical contact. A simplification is a dangerous approach to the complexity of relations: sex cannot be reduced to an in/out action. I want to enter a post-digital phase in which technology facilitates life, preserving its humanity.
